Maher Community Association (Leicester) UK is a registered charity since 1990, has won a numerous awards for their contribution towards charitable work.
Maher Community Association was setup;
- Cultural programmes for the benefit of the Maher Community
- To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the Maher Community in the United Kingdom and in other parts of the world.
- To relieve poverty
- To advance religion
- To advance education
- To provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of such persons

- Provision of education in particular Gujarati classes;
- Sports venue football, basketball etc;
- Hall hire facilities and regular religious functions for the old and the young.
